Esme Ballet Tutus

Dancewear UK specializes in making ballet tutus and has 24 years experience in the process of assembling tutus. Below we show you how we make our ever popular 'Rainbow Tutu'.

The Ballet Tutu Bodice

Once the design has been chosen we start the process in our cutting room.

The fabric is cut by hand using our Esme by Dancewear UK patterns and assembled by one of our machinists.

The Ballet Tutu Nets

Once the colour of the netting has been chosen to either match or compliment the tutu bodice, the nets are unfolded and cut by hand to the correct lengths.

The nets are then gathered into the frills.

These frills are then carefully attached by hand to the bodice before proceeding to quality control to be checked.

Finally, the finished garment.

The tutu is then packaged and posted to you to be worn and enjoyed for many years to come.
